JR. On the 21sr inst., Joshua H. Hynes, Jr., in the 25th year of his age. FAUCETT, RACHEL July 20, Rachel Faucett, wife of John Faucett, in the 25th year of her age. Gone with all the unknown future In the distant years a ar- Gone with hope’s young dreams around her, -Flashing like the morning star. Gone to tread the ever blooming Vale no mortal step hath trod; Gone to be at home with angels On the adamantine hills of God. Hers were hands of Christ’s sweet pity, Though her heavy heart run o’er When we think of her we loved, Pale and silent ever more. But sweet comfort hath been spoken- Come and lay your burden down; There is balm for every sorrow, And a cross for every crown. And this dear one gone before us, We shall meet and clasp again, In the land where cometh never Any shadow and no pain. BOND, Mary Jane Near Willow Mill, on the 18th inst., Mary Jane, aged 15 months 12 days, only daughter of Eli and Elizabeth A. Bond. Her sufferings now are at an end- She’ll never hear another sigh, But an eternity she’ll spend With God who reigns above the sky. This much (and this is all) we know- Saints are completely blest- Have done with this world’s care and wo, And with their saviour rest. On harps of gold they praise his name; His face they always view, Then let us followers be of them, That we may praise him too. NEEL, MARY THOMAS On the 20th of June, in Baltimore county, near Willow Mill, at the residence of her grandfather, Thos. Bond, from a painful suffering by fire, Mary Thomas Neel, aged 17 months 10 day, only daughter of R. A. Neel. Mine, given by my father God, By thine own hand sent forth; A beautiful, mysterious flower, To bloom awhile on earth. It did not droop in my embrace, But gathered beauty there; And watered by the dews of heaven A bud was n’er so fair. A bud from heaven to earth was sent, We tho’t ‘twas given – ‘twas only lent; That earthly tie cold death has riven, That bud of earth now blooms in heaven.
