DILWORTH, ELISABETH A. On Jan. 11th, Elisabeth A., aged 47 years, wife of John T. Dilworth. NELSON, GEORGE W. On Jan. 13(?)th, 1886, George W. Nelson, aged 61 years. EBAUGH, ELIAS At Jeffersonville, Indiana, Jan. 12th, 1886, Elias Ebaugh, in the 42d year of his age. CROSS, CAROLINE AUGUSTA Suddenly, on Jan. 14th, 1886, of paralysis, Caroline Augusta, in the 60th year of her age, beloved wife of David W. Cross. WILLIAMS, MARY CATHARINE In Towsontown, on Thursday evening, January 11, 1886, Mary Catharine Williams, beloved wife of Wm. Williams, formerly of Northeast, Cecil county. {Cecil county papers please copy.} BAKER, REV. ALFRED Rev. Alfred Baker, one of the oldest ministers of the Baltimore Conference of the M. P. Church, died a few days ago, in the 74th year of his age. FROST, DR. WM. J. Dr. Wm. J. Frost, a well known druggist of Hampden, Falls road, died suddenly on Wednesday morning. He was a native of Ellicott City and 44 years of age. DEVOE, JOHN & WIFE On New Year’s day, Mr. John Devoe died at his resident, near Clarmont Mills, Harford county, aged 82 years. His death occurred at 6 a. m., and at 11 a. m. on the same day, his wife also passed away. Mrs. Devoe was 77 years of age SHERIDAN, JAMES James Sheridan, who was injured by a passenger train near Sparks’ station, N. C. R. R., on the 22d of December, died in the City Hospital last Saturday. He was walking on the track with a companion named Walker. Both were struck and Walker was instantly killed. The men were tramps. A coroner’s jury rendered a verdict in the case of Sheridan of death by accident. NELSON, GEORGE SR. George Nelson, Sr., the well known trainer and track driver, who has been known among horsemen in Baltimore county for many years, died in Baltimore on Wednesday, aged 64 years. Nelson drove at Timonium last fall behind Mr. Todd’s “Harry Arlington,” a horse that he had many times piloted to victory. His disease was paralysis, brought on by indigestion. SPICER, WIFE OF NATHANIEL The wife of Nathaniel Spicer, Esq., constable of the 6th district, died suddenly on Friday night of last week. Several members of the family, on returning from the Baptist night meeting, found her lying on the porch with some wood in her arms. Life was extinct and it was supposed she was paralyzed. She had been in declining health for some time. ARMACOST, CHILD OF C. W. Mr. C. W. Armacost, of Glencoe, lost his youngest child this week by a very sudden death.
