JOHN W. GREEN

Mr. John Wesley Green, died at his home, near Warren, late Saturday night of 
pneumonia. Mr. Green had been ill in bed for several weeks and was attended by 
Dr. B. F. Bussey, of Cockeysville. The deceased leaves a number of children, 
all of whom are grown. Rev. Alonzo Green, who has a charge on the Eastern 
Shore, is a son. The funeral services were taken carge of by the Knights of 
Pythias of which Mr. Green was a member. Services were held at Poplar M. P. 
Church, near Warren, Wednesday by Revs. J. L. Straughn and Owen H. Morris. The 
funeral was largely attended. The pallbearers were Messrs. Frank Anderson, 
Samuel Grover, George Kenne, John Tyrie, William Childs and T. C. Cross.
(John Wesley Green was a son of William G. Green and Julia Ann Carroll Green.)
