Baltimore County Democrat  Dec. 30, 1893
Samuel Hill, colored, died at his home in Towsontown on Saturday 
last.  "Uncle" Sam, as he was generally known, was an employe of Major John I. 
Yellott, and was formerly owned by the Yellott family.  He was faithful in the 
performance of his duties and was highly respected by the Major and his 
family.  His funeral took place Tuesday.
