Talbott. Then funeral of Miss Fannie Talbott, eldest daughter of Adam D. and Mary A. Talbott, who died at her parents' residence, Towson, on Friday, 15th, took place from St. Francis' Church, Towson on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. The Rev. M. O'Keefe said solemn Requiem Mass before a large congregation, after which her remains were conveyed to the cemetery of Sherwood Protestant Episcopal Church, Cockeysville, where they were interred in the family lot. Dr. B. F. Bussey, Thos. R. Bussey, Hon. J. Fred. C. Talbott, Milton W. Offutt, Frank Kemp and Aquila Ridgely acting as pall-bearers. Henry W. Mears, Baltimore, directed the funeral arrangements. PORTER, JOHN E. - Suddenly, in Baltimore, on February 15th, 1889, JOHN E. PORTER, aged 60 years, formerly a resident of Towson, Baltimore county. ALT, SUSIE - Suddenly, at Towson, on Sunday, February 17th, 1889, SUSIE, in the 28th year of her age, daughter of Henry and Margaret Alt. Miss Susie Alt, daughter of Henry and Margaret Alt,died at the residence of her parents, Towson, on Sunday, 17th inst. Her funeral took place on Tuesday, 19th inst., from Trinity P. E. Church, Towson, of which she was a member. In the absence of the Rev. W. H. H. Powers, Rector, the Rev. A. T. Pindell, Rector of Sherwood Church, Cockeysville, read the solemn service for the deat, after which her remains were conveyed to the cemetery of Govanstown Presbyterian Church, where they were interred, Rev. Mr. Pindell concluding the services. Chas. N. Phipps, Clarence W. McMaster, Benjamin Bowen, John C. Hicks, Benj. Marley and Wm. P. Cole acted as pall-bearers. John Burns, Towson, directed the funeral arrangements. BALDWIN, OLIVER P. - At Waverly, Baltimore city, on February 16th, 1889, OLIVER P. BALDWIN, aged 5 years and 5 months, son of Oliver P. and Mary P. Baldwin. CONNELLY, JOHN B. - In Baltimore, on February 16th, 1889, JOHN B. CONNELLY, in the 55th year of his age, formerly a resident of Baltimore county. Mr. John B. Connelly, aged 55 years, who was at one time the owner of the marble quarries at Texas, now operated by Hugh Sisson, and who lived for a time at Govanstown, where he built the fine marble mansion on the York Road now owned by Col. L. J. McCabe, died in Baltimore on the 17th inst. after a six months' attack of Bright's disease. The deceased was of fine, jovial disposition, and charitable, though he met with financial reverses he never repined. He leaves a widow and several children. LONGNECKER, DAVID S. - Near Glyndon, Baltimore county, on February 15th, 1889, DAVID S. LONGNECKER, in the 67th year of his age. David S. Longnecker, an excellent citizen and a prominent farmer of the 4th District, died at his residence near Reisterstown on the 15th inst., aged 67 years. He was a native of Lancaster county, Pa., and was a brother of the late John H. Longnecker. He stood high among his fellow citizens, and was prompt in the discharge of all his duties, private and public. He leaves a widow, one son and one daughter. WARNER, EDW. W. - At Reisterstown, Baltimore county, on February 17th, 1889, EDW. W. WARNER, aged 80 years. Mr. Edw. W. Warner, aged 80 years, died at his residence near Reisterstown on Sunday last, 17th inst. He had been sick but two days with an attack of pneumonia. His funeral, which was largely attended, took place from All Saints P. E. Church, Rev. Dr. A. J. Rich officiating. BUTLER, MARY J. - At Reisterstown, Baltimore county, on February 17th, 1889, MRS. MARY J. BUTLER, aged 67 years of Ashland, Va. Mrs. Mary J. Butler, of Ashland, Va., aged 67 years, died on Sunday, 17th inst., at the residence of her son-in-law, Rev. John A. Anderson, pastor of Grace M. E. Church, Reisterstown. Her remains were sent to Virginia for interment. REICHE, ARAMINTA FENDALL - At Waverly, Baltimore city, on February 16th, 1889, ARAMINTA FENDALL, aged 4 years and 11 months, fourth daughter of Dr. P. H. and Emily F. Reiche. BUJAC, ELLEN R. KELSO - At Catonsville, Baltimore county, on February 18th, 1889, ELLEN R. KELSO, wife of James Bujac. CARSWELL, JOHN S. - At Homestead, Baltimore city, on February 18th, 1889, JOHN S. CARSWELL, aged 82 years. Mr. John S. Carswell, aged 82 years, died on Monday, 18th inst., at Homestead. The deceased was born in Scotland and came to the United Sttes in 1827, and was engaged in the handling of turpentine. He first applied the process of distilling turpentine for illuminating purposes. He retired from business 15 years ago. In 1840 he married Harriet Von Ripper, a native of Bellville, N. J., who died in 1856. He had seven children, three of whom survive him -- Robt. S. Carswell, Lockhart S. Carswell and Mrs. Elizabeth M. Gault. For 40 years Mr. Carswell was connected with Broadway Presbyterian Church. He was an Odd Fellow and member of St. Andrew's Society. BOARMAN, JANE JAMISON - Mrs. Jane Jamison Boarman, aged 82 years, widow late Col. Benj. W. Boarman and mother of Mr. R. of the R. Boarman, of Towson, died at the residence of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Fannie Boarman, near Bel Air, Harford county, on Tuesday, 19th inst. The deceased was born in Calvert county and was a most estimable lady. She has another son, Mr. C. C. Boarman, who is practicing law in Texas.
