SPURGEON, ANNIE HAMMOND On May 31st, 1889, at the home of her mother, near Powhatan, Baltimore county, Annie Hammond Spurgeon, daughter of the late John D. Hammond and beloved wife of Wm. Spurgeon. CUTCHER, AMELIA E. At Linwood, Baltimore county, on June 2d, 1889, Amelia E., the beloved wife of Jos. F. Cutcher and second daughter of W. R. and Mary Conn. COLE, LOUIS M. On Tuesday, June 4th, 1889, Louis M. Cole, in the 73d year of his age. McLAIN, ROBERT At Waverly, Baltimore city, on June 6th, 1889, Robert, husband of the late Jane McLain. CARTER, WILLIAM In Baltimore, on June 6th, 1889, William Carter, in the 84th year of his age, formerly of Long Green, Baltimore county. WOLFE, PROF. J. E. In Shippensburg, Pa., on June 6th, 1889, Prof. J. E. Wolfe, husband of Belle Heisse Wolfe. MOORE, ANN (Cowenton, Md.) Mrs. Ann Moore, wife of Mr. Gibbons Moore, died at her home on the 29th of May. She was more than eighty years of age, and had previous to the day of her death enjoyed excellent health. Mrs. Moore was well known and respected in this community. Much sympathy is felt for her family. HAMILTON, ANN On Thursday, 30th ult., Mrs. Ann Hamilton, aged 72 years, the widow of the late James Hamilton, died at her residence, at Granite, in the 2d District. The deceased was a faithful and consistent member of the M. E. Church, and has been connected with St. Paul’s Church, at Granite, for a number of years.
