Subsequently opening the work in Baltimore, MD at Hoy's Tabernacle, June 5, 1881. Her life work is well known here as well as throughout the States and Canada by hundreds of friends in times when there was no eye to pity, nor hand to help who stood the effrontery of howling mobs and many who called themselves Christians.
