Taylor, and daughter of the late William H. and Julia A. Green of Warren. Mrs. Taylor died on November 18th, from infirmities of age. She was 88 years of age and had been active until a few months ago. She was confined to her bed for three weeks before her death. She had been a resident of Warren nearly all her life and was a member for 78 years, of Poplar M.P. Church. Her life was spent in church work and for the welfare of the community in which she lived. The floral tributes were many and handsome. The funeral was conducted by the Rev. Mr. Keener, pastor of the Church, assisted by three of her nephews, Rev. A.H. Green, of Maryland Line; Rev. Leas Green, of Baltimore, and Rev. John I. Green of York, Pa. The pallbearers were four of her grandsons, John Hundey, Norman Swanc, Edward Wilhelm and Russell Stevenson, and two nephews, Roy D. Britton and Leon Goldberg. She is survived by four daughters: Mrs. George Simms, of Bel Air; Mrs. Richard N. Britton, of Towson; Mrs. William Rice, of Roland Park, and Miss Julia Taylor, of Warren, and one son, John T. Taylor, of Wilhelm Park; one sister, Mrs. Laura Lynch, of Cockeysville, and three brothers: Thomas G. Green, of Towson; Frederick P. Green, of Pittsburgh, Pa., and William D. Green, of Connelsville, Pa., She is also survived by eleven gandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
