Baltimore County Union  August 30, 1902
A colored woman named Minta Williams died at her home in the 13th district of 
this county, at the age of 96 years.  She had been a slave, but was freed by 
her master, Charles Pettebone, August 10, 1920.  She had full possession of 
her faculties until a few weeks before her death.  Minta leaves a number of 
descendants.
