Richard M. Howard, of "My Lady's Manor," and Mr. John H. Gwynn, of Washington, D. C., took place in Washington on the 27th inst. at the residence of the uncle of the bride, Mr. Frank A. Richardson. The marriage ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Kervick, of St. Matthew's Church. The house was embowered in arching palms and tall rubber trees, and the cool deep green of the foliage plants was relieved in numerous places by great bunches of fragrant pink roses. The bride and groom stood under an arch covered with mossy ferns during the ceremony. Miss Howard is a tall, graceful blonde, with a brilliant complexion and a gracious manner. She wore at her wedding a traveling dress of gray Henrietta cloth trimmed with faille, with the toque in the same color in velvet and silk and a pink wreath. She held a huge bouquet of La France roses. After the marriage the wedding party walked into the dining-room, where a bountiful collation was spread. Only the near relatives and a few very intimate friends were invited. The wedding presents were numerous, handsome and valuable. KAUFMANN - YOST Cards have been issued for the marriage of Miss Ollie Yost, of Govanstown, and Mr. Edward Kaufmann, of Baltimore. NAIMASTER - WINTERSTEIN Quite a large crowd assembled at the Luthern Church, Putty Hill, on 18th inst., to witness the marriage of Mr. Henry J. Naimaster and Miss Anna Winterstein. The ushers were Mr. Conrad Winterstein, brother of the bride, and Miss Anna Graetzel. The young couple have the good wishes of all. Rev. Mr. Graetzel, the pastor of the church, officiated. After the ceremony the guests, a goodly number, repaired to the house of Mr. F. Groff, brother-in-law of the bride, where a reception was held, a collation served and an opportunity afforded to inspect the many handsome, appropriate and costly presents to bride and groom. The bridal party left on 9.22 P. M. train for Philadelphia and expect to spend several weeks on their tour. All in all the affair was exceedingly pleasant. RILEY - BRACHEN The marriage of Mr. George Froescher Riley, formerly of Ashland, Baltimore county, to Miss Kitty Brachen, was solemnized at Duquesne, Pa., on May 15th. Owing to the death of the bride's father recently, the wedding was a very quiet one, and the happy pair went immediately to house keeping. Mr. John T. Riley and wife, father and mother of the groom, spent the week in Braddock in order to be present at the ceremony. They have the best wishes of their many friends in the county and we wish them a bright future. This file is located at http://files.usgwarchives.net/md/baltimore/vitals/marriages/mj18900524.txt
