Worthington, of Baltimore county, who is well known in this vicinity. The bride wore a dark-blue traveling gown and carried a bouquet of La France roses. Rev. Robert H. Paine officiated. IASIGI - JANNEY Miss Alice Janney, daughter of Mr. Thomas Janney, who is well known in Baltimore county and who often followed the hounds of the Elk Ridge Fox Hunting Club, was married to Mr. Thomas C. Iasigi at the St. James Hotel in New York on the 5th inst. Among those who were present were: Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Janney, parents of the bride; Mr. G. Mason Janney, her brother; Mr. J. C. Iasigi, the bridegroom's brother; Miss Mignon Conner, daughter of Capt. Billy Conner, proprietor of the St. James; Mrs. Conner, Miss E. Janney, the bride's sister, and Miss Kate Montague, of Baltimore. The bridesmaids were Miss Mignon Conner and Miss E. Janney. Mrs. Iasigi was one of the favorites of Baltimore society, and has figured in nearly all the society events in that city for the past year or so. Mr. and Mrs. Janney are registered at the St. James Hotel. Mr. Iasigi, the bridegroom, is a relative of young Iasigi, who a few years ago married Miss May Stembler, the well-known actress, of Baltimore. He is said to be quite wealthy, and in addition to being the possessor of considerable property, has a title, which he has never claimed during his residence in this country. Mr. Iasigi met Miss Janney in the South early this summer. He was cruising in his yacht there, and fell in love with the Baltimore lady on the spot. The courtship was not a long one. They may reside in Baltimore, though their honeymoon will be spent in the North. They may go abroad for a short time. Mr. Iasigi is said by some to be a Turkish nobleman. His father was the Turkish Consul at Boston for several years, and occupied that position at the time of his other son's marriage to May Stembler. ENGEL - CLAYTON Mr. C. Lewis Engel, senior member of the firm of Engel & Bell, house and sign painters, and Miss Maggie Clayton, of Melrose Avenue, were married Wednesday last, and are now touring North. Lew has won one of our fairest, and that prosperity may ever surround the happy pair is the wish of those who have gone before and those they leave behind.
