C. C. Cronin, JAMES BOYCE, of Chestnut Summitt, Baltimore county, and Miss SALLIE K. CHANEY, daughter of Prof. R. G. Chaney. On Monday last, 18th inst., Mr. James Boyce, who is a resident of Baltimore county, and who is well known throughout the country as a wealthy coal operator, who resides all the year round at “Chestnut Summit,” near Sherwood Station, on the Northern Central Railroad, was married to Miss Sallie K. Chaney, daughter of Prof. R. G. Chaney, of Baltimore. The wedding was a quiet one, none but intimate friends and relatives of the contracting parties being present. The Rev. C. C. Cronin, of the M. E. Church, officiated. The bride wore a traveling suit of mauve-colored cloth, and held in her hand a bouquet of pink roses. She was given away by her brother-in-law, Mr. Wm. Parrish, and was attended by Miss A. E. Owens. The bride and groom after the ceremony went to New York and on Wednesday sailed for Europe for an extended tour on the Continent. They will first visit the Chief points of interest to travelers and tourists in Ireland, will then travel through England, Scotland, France, Germany and Switzerland. Mr. Boyce is President of the Maryland Union Coal Company, Conrad Hill Gold and Copper Company, and Treasurer of the Gaston Gas Coal Company. Mr. Boyce had been married twice before.
