In the name of God Amen I Charles Anderson of Baltimore County in the province of Maryland Carpenter being weak in bodybut sound of memory Thanks be to almighty God for the same and knowing the uncertainty of this transitory world I do make and ordain this my last will and testament as vizt. first I recommend my soul to god who gave it to me and Jesus Christ who redeemed it and to the holy ghost sanctified it looking through the meritorious death and passion of Jesus Christ my Saviour and to have a free pardon and forgiveness of all my sins and my body buried decently after a Christian burial at the sescression of my executors hereafter nominated and as touching such worldly Estate as it hath pleased God to bless me withal after my just debts and funoral charges are paid I hereby give and bequeath as vizt. Imprimus I give and bequeath unto my two sons Daniel Anderson and CharlesAnderson one hundred acres of land called Carpenters plains and fifty acres of Land Called woods ?Adission? to be equally devided between them My son Daniel to have Seventyfive acres at the upper end - where my dwelling plantation is to him his heirs and asignes forever and Charles Jr. to have Seventyfive acres at the lower end on Swan Creek run to him his heirs and asignes forever -- Item I give and bequeath unto my wellbeloved wife Grace Anderson all my personal estate to her own use and benefit and when my four children comes at age as vizt Sarah Daniel Charles and Margaret Anderson my said wife Grace is enjoynd to pay unto each of them four pounds in curant money and I do make & ordain my whole and sole executor of this my last will l&: testament my wellbeloved wife Grace Anderson -- Revoking all other wills & testaments heretofore made by me In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this second day of January anno Domini 1739.
