In the name of God amen. I Thomas Johnson of Baltimore County do make this my last will and Testament as follows I give and devise unto my son Horatio Johnson and his heirs in fee simple the following five tracts or parcells of land to wit a Tract or parcel of land lying in Baltimore County called and known by the name of Turkey Cock Hall. Another tract or parcel of land lying in Prince Georges County formely called and known by the name of Aquaseahe, otherwise Aquasco? but now by the name of Brooke Court, whereon my son Rinaldo Johnson now dwells. Another tract or parcel of land lying in Prince Georges County contiguous to the aforsaid tract called Brooke Court, called and known by the name of Joseph and Mary, another Tract or parcell of land lying in Prince Georges County called and known by the name of Purchase and another tract or parcel of land being part of a tract of land called and known by the name of Buttington lying in Prince Georges and Charles County, And I also give and bequeath unto my son Horatio Johnson his Executors and Administrators forever all the Negroe slaves. Horses, Cattle and Sheep with all their Increase and all the household furniture and plantation utensils mentioned in a Bill of Sale made by my son Horatio Johnson to me and recorded in Prince Georges County Court Records. Nevertheless upon and subject to the Trust hereinafter mentioned Expressed and Declared of and commencing the same to wit Upon this especial trust that my son Rinaldo Johnson shall possess occupy and enjoy all the said lands, Buildings theron without any Impeachment of Waiste? for and during his natural life and that my said son Rinaldo Johnson also possess and enjoy the said Negro slaves, Horses, Cattle and Sheep with their increase and the said Household furniture and Plantation utensils without being liable for any damage of ? or decrease thereof and during his natural life and upon this further Trust that my said son Rinaldo Johnson may by his Deed Execute on presence of two witness or by his last will and testament made and executed as the law requires give and dispose of the said lands and premises or any of them or of the said Negro Slaves or their increase or any of them or of the said other property above mentioned or any part thereof to such person or persons as he pleases and upon this further Trust that if my said son Rinaldo Johnson shall not execute this power that upon his Death the said land and other property above mentioned shall be equally divided among the children of the said Rinaldo Johnson and their heirs, Executors and Administrators as Tenants in Common and not as Joint Tenants. In Witness where of the said Thomas Johnson have hereunto set my hand and seal this 25th day of March One Thousand Seven hundred and ninety.......
