I John Mason of St. John's Parish of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland being weak of Body but of sound disposing mind and memory thanks be to Almighty God do ordain constitute and appoint this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say I give and bequeath unto my loving Son John one Shilling. Item. I give and bequeath unto my loving Wife Frances all my Real & Personal Estate after my Lawful Debts and funeral Expences are paid. I also leave my said Wife Frances my whole and Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & afixed my Seal this 2d Day of April Anno Domini 1736. May the 11th 1736 Then Came John Roberts, John Stokes, and William Kemp, and made oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God that they saw the Testator John Mason Sign the foregoing Will and heard him publish and declare the same to be his last Will and Testament, that at the time of his so doing he was to the best of their apprehension of sound & disposing mind and memory.
