Will of Joshua Tracey of Baltimore County dtd 1 Nov 1855

The Last Will and Testament of Joshua Tracey of Maryland in the County of Baltimore. I 
Joshua Tracey considering the uncertainity of this mortal life and being of sound mind and 
memory blessed be (Alighty God for the same) do make and publish this my last Will and 
Testament in manner and form following (that is to say).

First. I give and bequeast to my Eldest son William G. Tracey one dollar.
Item. I give and bequeath to my daughter Temperance Anderson one dollar.
Item I give and bequeath to my son Joshua B. Tracey ten dollars.
Item. I give and bequeath to my son Benjamin F. Tracey one dollar.
Item. I give and bequeath to my two grandchildren James S. Tracey and Mary Emily 
Tracey each one dollar.
Item. I give and bequeath to my youngest daughter Keziah Tracey one Hundred dollars.

And lastly as all the rest, residue and remaineder of my Real Estate and Personal Estate be 
equally divided among my daughters Mary Tawney, and Martha Tracey, and my youngest 
daughter Keziah and Joseph Shook My son-in-law equally shear and shear alike.

And lastly of all My will is that my property both real and personal be sold and my just 
debts be paid and allso my Funeral expenses paid and my body burried descently and then 
my Executrix whom I shall name shall proceed and pay over the Legacies and divide as 
above described and named. I appoint Joseph Shook my son-in-law my sole executrix of 
this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Will by me heretofore made. In 
Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal In the case that the above named 
Joseph Shouck should be disabled through sickness or death then I appoint my grandson 
William L. Tracey to act in his place this first day of November one thousand eight 
hundred and fifty five signed and sealed in the presence of us.

On this 4th day of August 1857 came Joshua Spindler and John R. Spindler two of the 
subscribing witnesses to the aforegoing last Will and Testament of Joshua Tracey late of 
Baltiore County, deceased, and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that 
they did see the Testator sign and seal this will that they heard him publish pronounce and
