Baltimore Co., Maryland. In the name of God, Amen. I, John Tredway of the aforesaid Province and County, being in a loe state of body, but of sound and perfect mind and memory, do make this my last will and testament as follows. First: I give and bequeth all my Estate both Real and Personal unto my beloved daughter Elizabeth Tredway, to her and her afsigns for ever, but if it should please God that my said daughter Elizabeth Tredway should part this life before she arrives to the age of sixteen years or day of marriage, then my will and desire is that my whole Estate both Real and Personal be divided equally between my brothers; Daniel, William, Aaron, and Moses Tredway, and my sister Mary Cunningham. Second: My will and desire is that all my Personal Estate be sold by my Executors hereafter mentioned, at Publick Vendue within three months and the money arrising from this Estate and sale to be put out to interest for the use of my said child. Third: My will and desire is that if my loving wife Sarah Tredway should depart this life, as she's now in a decaying loe state of body, before my child arrives to the age of sixteen years or day of marriage that then my Executors undertake the care of my child and educate her upon the interest of my Estate. But by no means to brake in upon the Principle, my will also is that so long as my wife shall live that my Executors pay unto my loving wife the interest arrising from the said Estate for the support of my child annualy and that my Executors shall see that the said money is truly apply'd that way. Lastley: I appoint my loving father Thomas Tredway and my brother in law Benjamin Hanson my Executors of this my last will and testament in witness whereof the said John Tredway hath set his hand and seale this 25th day of December, One Thousand seven hundred and sixty five.
