Greenway late of the City of New York and now of the City of Baltimore having heretofore canceled an assignment of a mortgage executed by Peter and John Zimmerman in the year eighteen hundred and eighteen to Thomas Thurman for a certain undivided _______ of a tract of land lying near the Town of Burkesville Cumberland County Kentucky which cancellation I am informed was _____ in 1831 in the house of said Thurman. This is to certify that I now reassign to said Thomas Thurman of Washington County Virginia all my interest both in land and equity to said mortgage unto the said Thomas Thurman as witness my hand at Abingdon Virginia given this 20th day of September 1833.
