Obituary in the Baltimore Sun, July 7, 1865, Enoch Pratt Library
PIERPOINT- On the 6th instant, after a short and painful illness, THOMAS B. 
PIERPOINT, in the 27th year of his age ,leaving a wife and one child to mourn 
their irreparable loss.
  His funeral will take place on this (Friday) afternoon, at four o'clock, 
from the residence of his father-in-law, Jacob A.H. Shinnick, No. 360 Eastern 
Avenue.
