Stansbury died Friday morning at his residence, Uffington Road, Mount Washington, from double pneumonia, following an attack of influenza. He was ill less than a week. Mr. Stansbury was born in Montgomery county, Maryland, in 1881, and was the son of the late Alpheus Stansbury and Matilda Hodges Stansbury. He was a graduate of the University of Maryland and for several years after obtaining his degree he engaged in the general practice of his profession in Baltimore City. Ten years ago he joined the legal department of the Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland. He was a lawyer of varied experience and his sound judgement and legal ability were nowhere better understood than by his associates, who held his advice in high regard. He was held in high esteem both as a lawyer and a man by his associates and the officers of the Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland. Mr. Stansbury is survived by a widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Howard Stansbury; one son, Benjamin Howard Stansbury, and his mother, who resides at Hampstead, Carroll County, Maryland. The funeral will take place from the residence at Mount Washington at 10:30 o'clock tomorrow. Burial will be in Loudon Park Cemetery.
