Messick, of Irvington, Virginia were married last Monday at the home of the bride's parents at Fredericksburg, Virginia by Rev. R.F. Gayle. The bride was given away by her father. The matron of honor was the bride's only sister, Mrs. A.P. Rowe, of Fredericksburg. The best man was Mr. Gilbert K. Messick. The wedding music was played by Miss Pauline Long. Mr. Irving R. Messick was the usher. The bride's costume was a London smoke broadcloth traveling suit. She carried a shower bouquet of violets. The matron of honor wore pink silk and carried pink carnations.
