First and Principally, I commit my soul into the hands of Almighty god, and my body to the earth, to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executrix herein after named and after my debts and funeral charges are paid, I devise and bequeath as follows: I give and bequeath my part of a house and lot in Pratt street No. 53 in the City of Baltimore to be equally divided between my five children, namely, Walter Wilson, Ann Shipley, Mary Cook, William Wilson, and Catharine Rowles, and in addition thereto I give and bequeath unto my children Walter Wilson, Mary Cook, William Wilson and Catharine Rowles the sum of five dollars each, which shall go and be in full satisfaction of all right, title, interest, claim and demand whatsoever, which they may, or can in any way pretend to have or claim, of; in or to all or any part of my real or personal estate. And whereas by my deed of conveyance to Ann Shipley, A lot of ground was included therein before the same was legally conveyed to me by Benjamin Palmer. I now therefore give and bequeath unto my daughter Ann Shipley all my right and title to the aforesaid lot of ground since conveyed to me by the aforesaid Benjamin Palmer, to her and her heirs and assigns forever. Item, For and in consideration of the great care and attention paid to me in my old age by my daughter Ann Shipley, and the natural affection I have for her, as she lives with me I give and bequeath unto all my stock and shares of public stock that may be on any of the books in Baltimore in my name, together with all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, both real and personal not herein before devised unto her the aforesaid Ann Shipley. And lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint my aforesaid daughter Ann Shipley, to be sole Executrix of this my last will and testament, revoking and annulling all former wills by me heretofore made, ratifying and confirming this, and none other, to be my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand, and affixed my seal, this twenty second day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty one.
