The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net *********************************************************************** Transcript from Maryland Wills Liber 25, folio 225-6, as follows: In the name of God Amen, I John King of Calvert County being in perfect mind and memory thanks be to God, hoping for salvation through faith in my saviour Jesus Christ and my body to be buried in the earth at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter to be named and as to what worldly goods I have and do possess by the blessing of almighty God I gie and bequeath as follows: Imp -- I give and bequeath unto my son Ignatius King (after the decease of my loving wife Sarah King) one half of my land on the westward part of the said land to him his heirs and assigns for ever. Item -- I give and bequeath unto my two sons Thomas King and Samuel King the remaining part of my land (after the decease of my loving wife Sarah King) to be equally divided between them to them their heirs and assigns forever. Item -- I give and bequeath unto my dear and loving wife all my personal estate, and that she shall have the use of all my lands that I have given to my three sons during her natural life. Lastly -- I do hereby constitute ordain and appoint my dear and loving wife Sarah King whole and sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former will or wills by me heretofore made in testimony hereof I have hereunto set my hand and fixed my seal this 26th day of November 1745. witnesses Richard Stallings, James Jarvise, Thomas Hinton and Henry Meary.
