L. D. Frock This Deed made the first day of April in the year one thousand Eight hundred and seventy six by Levi Bish, Elizabeth, his wife, John Starner, Caroline his wife, Henry Frock, Anna Eliza, his wife, William H. Bish, Susanna his wife, Adam Peter Bish, Eliza An his wife, Benjamin Nicolas Bish and Rebecca his wife all of Carroll County state of Maryland of the one part and William Leander Daniel Frock of the same county and state aforsaid of the other part. Whereas Daniel Bish late of Carroll County deceased died intestate leaving certain lands or real estate in Carroll County in the state of Maryland of which the said Daniel Bish died, seized and pursued at the time of his death which said land or real estate descended to his children namely Levi Bish, Caroline Starner wife of John Starner, Anna Eliza Frock wife of Henry Frock, William H. Bish, Adam Peter Bish and Benjamin Nicholas Bish who are the legal heirs and representatives of said deceased and whereas they the said heirs of the said Daniel Bish deceased as aforesaid have this day agreed to convey all said land or real estate which descended to them as aforesaid to them the said William Leander Daniel Frock and Louisa Frock his wife as tenant in common and not joint tenants for the sum of sixteen hundred dollars current money and have agreed to make this conveyance, and this deed witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of sixteen hundred dollars current money by the said William Leander Daniel Frock and Louisa Frock to the said Levi Bish, Elizabeth his wife, John Starner, Caroline his wife, Henry Frock, Anna Eliza, his wife, William H. Bish, Susanna his wife, Adam Peter Bish, Eliza An his wife, Benjamin Nicolas Bish and Rebecca his wife in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt of which they do hereby acknowledge they the said parties of the first part have bargained and sold and by these presents do grant unto them the said William Leander Daniel Frock and Louisa Frock their heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land that being a part of a tract of land called “Ohio” situate, lying and being in Carroll County in the state of Maryland contained within the following metes and bounds courses and distances to wit: Beginning for the met lines to include said part on parcel of land at a stone planted at the end of twenty one and sixteenth perches on the fifth line of a parcel of land called “Addition to Chestnut Ridge” and running thence with said land as heretofore marked bounded north fifty one and three quarter degrees east fourteen and four tenth perches to a stone planted at the end of said line then running by lines as fixed and agreed upon heretofore by the parties interested the two following courses north nine degrees west sixty four perches to a stone north twenty seven and a half degrees west seventy four perches to a stone at the end of thirty five and three quarter perches on the seventh line in a deed from Samuel Owings to Frederick Dunant bearing date on the 28th day of April 1798 and running thence with the lines of said conveyance as heretofore marked and bounded such fifty one and a quarter degrees west seventy three and a quarter perches to a stone then by a straight line to the place of beginning containing forty two acres and one quarter acres of land more or less being the same tract or parcel of land which was heretofore sold and conveyed to the said Daniel Bish deceased by William H. Bish and wife by their deed of conveyance in Liber G.E.W. No. 28 folio 526 one of the land records of Carroll County, To have and To hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land and premises, as above described to him the said William L. D. Frock and Louisa Frock his wife their heirs and assigns forever. Witness our hands and seals. Bish, Susanna his wife, Adam Peter Bish, Eliza An his wife, Benjamin Nicolas Bish and Rebecca his wife and did each acknowledge the deed to be their aupective act.
