In consideration of the sum of $2,000 doth grant all that part of a tract of land lying in the County aforesaid called "Hogstadt Enlarged" [actually Hockstead] containing 166 1/2 acres. Also all that part of land called "Gotham" abuts "Clara's New Holland" containing 57 ½ acres ... and the said Anna Mary Foltz shall give to the said Conrod Hileman the free and uninterrupted use of the stone part of the dwelling on said premises as now occupied by him, to give him sufficient Boarding, Clothing and lodging, to deliver to him firewood cut for the stove in his room, and give him all things that may be necessary for his Comfort, that he may require during his natural life. Witnessed Jacob Kerlinger and Jacob Gitt All that part of a tract of land lying in the county [of Carroll] called "Hogstadt" Enlarged which is contained within the following mites and bounds viz beginning at the end of 110 perches in the first line of the originial survey of said tract of land and running thence south 51 degrees west 110 perches north (?) 35 degrees west 500 perches north 51 degrees east 110 perches and then with a straight line to the beginning containing 136 ½ acres. Also all that part of a Tract of land called "Gotham" which is contained viz: Beginning for the same at the end of the second line of said tract of land and running thence south 51 degrees West 34 perches, north 32 degrees west 203 3/4 perches until it intersects the third line of "Clary's New Holland" then bounding on said line reversely south 78 degrees east 28 perchesunto the end of the second line of said tract, still bounding as aforesaid north 22 degrees east 26 perches until itintersects the south 78 degrees east 106 perches line of "Gotham" then boundingon said line to the end there of South 78 degrees east one perch, still bounding as aforesaid North 22 degrees east 3 perches until it intersects the second line of "Hodgstadt" then bounding on said line reversely south 22 degrees east 176 perches until it intersects the second line of Gotham then by a stright line to the place of beginning containing 57 ½ acres.
