She was the wife of the late Harry B. Fritz. Mrs. Fritz was born August 28, 1914, in Laytonsville, Md., the daughter of the late William W. Duvall and late Patty Everly Duvall. She was a home cleaner and a Life Member of Locust Grove Church of the Brethren. She is survived by 2 sons, William Fritz of New Market and David Fritz and wife Mattie of Virginia; 3 daughters: Elsie Schultz and her husband Harold of Frederick, Mabel Horton and her husband George of Mount Airy and Ann Shearer and her husband Jim of Mt. Pleasant; grandson Billy Fritz, Jr who also cared for her and numerous other grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 4 sons: Donald, Jimmy, Robert and John Fritz. Funeral Services were held Monday March 24, 2003, at Locust Grove Church of the Brethren, 13356 Glissans Mill Rd. Mt. Airy, MD 21771. Interment is in the church cemetery. Robert Bradfore Robert Lee Bradford, Sr., 87, of Westminster, formerly of Pikesville, died Friday March 21, 2003, at his home. He was the husband of the late Theresa Frances Bradford (nee Pennington). He was born July 22, 1915, in Belair, Md.,, the son of the late Rueben Bradford and the late Gertrude Bradford (nee Rudicill). He was a retired accountant for B & O Railroad. He was a member of Westminster Baptist Church in Westminster. He served in the Army during WW II. Survivors include 4 sons, Robert L. Bradford, Jr. of Upperco, Thomas P. Bradford of Woodbine, Richard B. Bradford of Ellicott City and Howard C. Bradford of Westminster; 2 daughters, Penelope S. Burke of Miami, Florida, and Judith F. Staubs of Westminster; a brother Francis Isenock of Westminster; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral Service was held Tuesday March 25, 2003, at Westminster Baptist Church 354 Crest Lane, Westminster, with the Pastor Richard B. Bradford of Ellicott City Assembly of God officiating. Kathleen Scheel Kathleen Wilson Scheel (nee Bohn), 88, of Mount Airy, died Friday, March 21, 2003, at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Frederick, Md. She was born June 24, 1914, in Mount Airy, the daughter of the late Shirley Bohn and the late Mary Bohn (nee Wilson). She was the wife of the late William A. Scheel, Jr. She was a homemaker. She farmed, living on the farm since 1940 on Old Annapolis Road, She was a member of the Farm Bureau, She also worked in food service at Linganore High School, and she was secretary for the 55 Plus Club for 17 years in Mount Airy, She was a member of the Prudence Chapter 95, Order of the Eastern Star in Mount Airy, where she held many offices including Marshall and twice as Worthy Matron. She was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church and she was past secretary and president of (WSCS) Women's Society in Mount Airy. She loved cooking, reading and traveling. Survivors include 2 sons, William A. Scheel III and wife Linda of Mount Airy and David R. Scheel and wife Brenda of Mount Airy; a brother, Ronald Bohn of Mount Airy; grandchildren, Beth Stockman and husband Robert of Mount Airy, Angela Scheel of Mount Airy, William A. Scheel IV and wife Carrie of Mount Airy, and Daniel R. Scheel and wife Stephanie of Falls Church, Va.; 7 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Irene Tabler, and one great grandson, Robert Stockman, Jr. Funeral Service were held March 25, at Prospect United M. Church, 5923 Woodville Road, Mount Airy, with the Rev. Susan Boehl of Prospect U.M. Church and the Rev. Ernest Thayil officiating. Interment is in Prospect U.M. Church Cemetery.
