Died suddenly in Baltimore on Saturday evening, Mr. Thomas M. Johnson, son of James
Johnson of Springfield, this county.  Deceases was the descendant of an illustrious 
family, his grand father was Colonel James Johnson, who commanded a Frederick 
regiment during the Revolutionary war.  Thomas Johnson was twice married, his second 
wife survives him.  He has lived in Baltimore since 1832 and was 69 years old.  The 
funeral will take place from Immanuel Baptist Chapel, to-morrow afternoon.

The funeral of the late Mr. Thomas Johnson, a native of this county, took place
yesterday afternoon from Immanuel Baptist church in Baltimore, Rev. A. C. Dixon, 
officiating.  Interment was made at Greenmount cemetery.
