First and principally, I commit my soul into the hands of Almighty God and my body to the earth - to my executor or in other....guardian, I will hereinafter name after my debts are paid. I will and bequeath one half of my goods movable and immovable, the one half of it to my beloved wife Margrata Raißla for the rest of her life, and after her death, said half of my property is to be divided in two equal shares: one half of it is to be given to her son Michael and the other half to her daughter Catharina, now wife of Johannes Dörfler. In the event of my wife, named aforementioned, dying before I die, the aforementioned half made over to my wife or the half of my property is to be given as fast as possible to her children, namely to her son Michael the one half and the other half to her daughter Catharina now wife of Johannes Dörfler. My executor, who I will name hereinafter, is to name a trustee who take care of Michael according to the regulations of the Orphans Court for this county. The other half of my goods altogether, movebles and unmovables, I will and bequeath to my now living three children, this half of my propety is to be divided into three equal shares, the one third part of the one half of my propety I will and bequeath onto my son Daniel Raißla; and one third part of said half I will and bequeath to my daughter Maria; and the one and last third part of the half of property I will and bequeath unto my daughter Rosina. My executor or guardian who I will name hereinafter is to auction, after my death, my property at a public auction to the highest bidder, the money thereof one...... and after two years after my death to be given to the heirs above mentioned; and one bank letter to the buyer or as it is called "deed". Now I name and entitle Daniel Raißla as my executor or guardian of my above written Last Will and Testament. I testify this and no other as my testament with the writing of my own hand on the 27 day of January in the year of the Lord eighteen hundred and three and fifty.
