Hall's Choice
Written: October 20, 1764

Cecil County Land Records Book 10 Folio 61
Indenture 20 October 1764 between Charles Orrick, Balto. Co., and Elihu Hall, 
Cecil County one part and Andrew Steel of Penna the other part. Witness that 
the said Charles Orrick and Elihu Hall for 105 pounds current money paid by 
Andrew Steel have sold to said Andrew Steel 35 acres of land being part of 
land called Halls Choice lying and being in Cecil County. Beginning at a 
marked oak standing off the corner of John Walkers 33 1/2 acres of land laid 
off of Halls Choise and running from said tree East by North 61 1/2 perches 
until it intersedes the South by East line of Halls Choice then with the said 
line South by East 95 perches then North 70 degrees, West 84 1/2 perches with 
a straight line course to the beginning.

Additional Comments:
Elihu Hall,Jr, married Catherine Orrick, Balto. Co. George Hall of Chester Co 
Pa married Sara Hoopes, His brother Charles Hall married Sara Taylor. Both are 
sons of Samuel b ca 1710 d 1738 Kennett..
