Witnessth that for and in consideration of the sum of Three hundred dollars be(?) the said Ranseler Biddle doth grant unto Jacob T Biddle of Cecil county and State of Maryland his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land, situate, lying and being in Cecil County aforesaid and described as follows, to wit: Beginning for the same at a stone a corner of land formerly belonging to Samuel Johnson, and running thence along said land South twenty one and a half degrees East twenty one and two tenths perches to a stone; thence North Seventy two degrees West Seven and six tenths perches; thence South Nineteen degrees West thirty and two tenths perches; thence North Seventy seven and three quarter degrees West Eighteen perches; thence North Seventy four degrees West nineteen and five tenths perches to the middle of the great road leading from Elkton to Dysarts Tavern, thence along said road North nine degrees East forty Eight and six tenths perches; thence South Seventy Eight degrees East forty perches, and thence by a straight line to the place of Beginning. Containing thirteen acres of land more or less, and being the same tract or parcel of land which was conveyed to the said Ranseler Biddle by two Deeds, one from Henry Hess and Elizabeth M Hess his wife, bearing date the fifteenth day of June in the year Eighteen hundred and Sixty and Recorded among the Land Records of Cecil County aforesaid in Liber WHR No 2 folio 603; the other from Archibald P Dysart and wife and others, bearing date the twenty seventh day of August in the year Eighteen hundred and Sixty seven and Recorded among the Land Records of Cecil County aforesaid in Liber HRT No 3 folio 4. Together with the buildings and improvements, rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining. In witness whereof the said Ranseler Biddle hath set his hand and seal.
