Witnessth that in consideration of the sum of Two Thousand and eight hundred dollars, the said Philip A Ricards and Martha T Ricards his wife do grant unto John A Ricards Junior of the City of Baltimore the undivided interest of the said Philip A Ricards in and to all those certain tracts pieces or parts of tracts of land lying and being in Cecil County aforesaid called “Bel Air” and “Providence” and containing altogether two hundred and forty seven acres more or less, which was conveyed to Elizabeth Ricard the mother of the said Philip A Ricards by John A J Cresswell by deed dated on the twenty first day of March in the year Eighteen hundred and fifty six and recorded amongst the land records of Cecil County aforesaid in Liber HHM No 6 folio 307 etc to which said deed and the deeds therein referred to reference is hereby made for the courses and distances and a more accurate description of said Tracts, pieces or parcels of land.
