Witnesseth, Whereas Matthew Borland and Amanda Borland his wife by their deed of Mortgage dated the twenty fifth day of March in the year Eighteen hundred and sixty four conveyed to James Mackey certain Real Estate in said Mortgage mentioned situate and lying in Cecil County for the purpose of securing the payment of the sum of one thousand eight hundred and seventy five dollars, and whereas afterwards on the seventh day of October in the year Eighteen hundred and sixty four the said James Mackey assigned the said Mortgage and the Real estate therein mentioned to James T McCullough trustee of Benjamin W Harris, and whereas the said James T McCullough as Administrator of the said Benjamin W Harris, afterwards assigned the same to one Samuel Harris, and Whereas the said Matthew Borland and wife have sold a part of the land mentioned in said deed of Mortgage to Mary Ann D Williamson of Cecil County as appears by their Deed bearing date the second day of April in the year Eighteen hundred and seventy, and Whereas the said Mary Ann D Williamson and the said Matthew Borland and wife are desirous of having the lein[sic] of said Mortgage removed from said land mentioned in said last mentioned Deed. Now This Deed Witnesseth, that the said Samuel Harris and James T McCullough in consideration of the premises, and in consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars paid of said Mortgage debt, this day paid the said, grant unto the said Mary Ann D Williamson the said property mentioned and described in said deed from the said Matthew Borland and wife to the said Mary Ann D Williamson so far as may be necessary to release the said property from the said Mortgage.
