Steele and Barclay and William M. Reynolds both of Cecil County, Md. Whereas the said James A. Steele owes and stands justly indebted unto the said Barclay and Wm M. Reynolds in the sum of $55.00 and to secure the payments thereof is willing to execute these presents. This indenture witnesseth that the said James A. Steele for and in consideration of the premises and of the sum of $1.00 paid by the said Barclay and William M. Reynolds at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt acknowledged hath sold unto Barclay and Wm M. Reynolds all and singular the goods household stuff, stock to hereinafter mentioned. One Cherry bureau and cover, One pair of Maple Bed Steads, One Cherry Dining Table, One Pie Bench Table, Six Windsor chairs, One Cooking stove and fixtures, One Maple candle stand, One Mantle Clock, One Square Kitchen Cupboard, One Pine chest, One Feather bed and bedding, One Flock bed and bedding, One Mahogany Paine looking glass, Two Black hogs and one Spotted pig.
