Witnesseth that in consideration of Four hundred dollars the said John W Egnor and Matilda Egnor his wife do grant unto John Lowery in fee, all that certain tract of land and premises contained in the following metes and bounds, courses and distances, being a part of a tract of land which the said John W Egnor purchased of Alexander Scott and wife as per deed bearing date the 24th day of March 1860 and Recorded in Liber WHR No 2 folio 563 etc one of the land record Books of Cecil County. Beginning at the Northeast corner of the same in the line of land of Park & Co, also a corner of said Lowry’s land, thence south nine degrees west fifty one perches and six tenths to a stake in the middle of the road, thence with the middle of said road South seventy nine and three quarter degrees west nine perches and twelve hundredths to a stake, thence north one degree East fifty four perches and six tenths to a stake in the line of lands of said Lowry thence south seventy nine degrees east, fifteen perches and fifty two hundredths to the place of beginning. Containing four acres of land, more or less. Witness our hands and seals.
