WITNESSTH, That the said Mollie D Arbuckle, for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty-Seven Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($2,750.00), to her in hand paid by the said party of the second part, at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained and sold and by these presents does grant, bargain and sell unto the said Daniel C Carter, his heirs and assigns, all that certain Tract or Parcel of Land situate in or near the Village of Cherry Hill, on the North side of the Cherry Hill-Cowantown Road, and in the Fourth Election District of said Cecil County, which is contained within the following metes and bounds, courses and distances, according to a Survey thereof made by C S Pankin, Surveyor, on the 9th day of April, AD, 1921, as shown by the Plat hereunto annexed, that is to say: BEGINNING for the outlines of the same at a stone monument set in the ground at the North-west corner of the tract or parcel of land hereby conveyed, said place of beginning being also the North-east corner of the land of the Cherry Hill Methodist Episcopal Church and on the line of land of Thomas B Miller, and running thence South 5 Degrees West 858 Feet, with the land of said Church and passing over a stone set in theground the North side of said Road, to the centre of said Road; thence with the centre of said Road North 88 Degrees and 20 Minutes East 122 Fee to a point; thence still with the centre of said Road North 81 Degrees and 35 Minutes East 690 Feet to the land of Thomas B Miller; thence with the land of said Miller North 13 Degrees and 18 Minutes East 925 Feet; and thence still with the land of said Miller South 80 Degrees and 51 Minutes West 952 Feet to the place of Beginning: Containing Seventeen and Two-Tenths Acres of land, be the same more or less: Being the same Tract or Parcel of Land which was conveyed unto the said Mollie D Arbuckle by Emley W Sebold and others, by deed bearing date the 2nd day of October, AD, 1913, and recorded among the Land Records of said Cecil County in Liber CK, No 6, folio 492 etc. TOGETHER with the buildings and improvements thereon erected and all the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above granted property unto the said Daniel C Carter, his heirs and assigns, forever in fee simple. AND the said Mollie D Arbuckle does hereby covenant that she will warrant specially the property hereby conveyed; and that she will execute such further assurances of said land as may be requisite. IN TESTIMONEY WHEREOF the said Mollie D Arbuckle has hereunto set her hand and affixed her seal, the day and year first herein written.
