WITNESSTH, That in consideration of the sum of ten Dollars and other good and valuable considerations, we, the said Philip R Arbuckle and Annie M Arbuckle, his wife, do grant and convey unto Mabel E Lort, all that lot or parcel of land situated in the Village of Cherry Hill, in the Third Election District of Cecil County and State of Maryland, adjoining lands of the late David C Work and others, on the south side of the road leading by the ME Church and described as follows: BEGINNING for the same at a stone on the South side of said road, being a corner of the lot of land formerly belonging to the representatives of the late William Gilmore, and being the North East corner thereof, and running thence south eighty-seven and one-half degrees East forty feet up said road to a stone, thence leaving said road and running South three degrees East one hundred feet to a stone, thence North eighty-seven and one-half degrees west fifty feet to a stone, also a corner of the Gilmore lot, thence by a straight line to the place of beginning. Containing Four Hundred and Forty-Four Square Yards of land, more or less. It being the same lot of land, which was conveyed to the said Philip R Arbuckle by Mary S Arbuckle, by deed dated August 26th, 1891, and recorded in Liber JGW No 8, folio 396, etc, one of the Land Record Books of Cecil County aforesaid, to which said deed and all others therein mentioned reference is hereby made for a more particular and accurate description of said real estate. TOGETHER with the improvements thereon and the rights and appurtenances thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above granted property unto the said Mabel E Lort, her heirs and assigns, forever, in fee simple. WITNESS our hands and seals the day and year first above written.
