Witnessth that for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars, the said Henry M Pierson & wife, and Laura C Barrell, do grant in fee Simple, free and Clear of all incumbrances unto R C Carter, Wm J Grant, Sam’l K Miller, J D Carter, David C Work, Allen McClane, David T Devlin, Henry R Carter, and Jas Spence, Being Trustees in trust for the use of the Methodist E Church at Cherry Hill in the County and State aforesaid, and to their successors in Office forever all that lot or parcel of ground in County aforesaid and adjoining the lot on which the M E Church is Built also the lot on which the M E Parsonage is Built and being part of the same lands the said Henry M Pierson Bought from Joseph S Terrell and Lydia Terrell his wife as by deed dated the thirteenth day of January in the year Eighteen hundred and seventy six and recorded _ liber AWM No 4 folio 115, one of the record Books of Cecil County will more fully and at large appear the said piece of land here intended to be sold and conveyed is the following Bounds and measurements in fact Beginning at a stone on north side of Public road leading from Cherry Hill to Cowantown, and running two hundred feet in a Northerly direction to a stone set in said Piersons field thence eighty four feet west to Parsonage Stable, thence south 116 feet with Parsonage lot line to line of Church lot there 52 feet east to corner of Ch lot thence south 46 feet to ch lot to road thence 40 feet by line of road to place of Beginning. Together with all and singular the rights privileges and appertenances thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining to the right title and interest of said parties of the first part of in & to the same unto the said Trustees & to their successors forever. In Testimony whereof we have hereto placed our hands and seals on the day and year first hereon before written.
