Witnesseth that in consideration of the sum of fifteen hundred Dollars (which said sum is made up by the payment of seven hundred dollars in Cash upon the delivery of this deed, and by the assumption of the payment of a Mortgage for eight hundred dollars, upon the property hereinafter mentioned now held by Mary Hollingsworth, and dated on the twelfth day of March in the year eighteen hundred and eighty one) we the said William H Brokaw and Margaret J Brokaw his wife, do grant unto Richard C Porter, of Cecil County in the State of Maryland, all those tracts, parts of tracts, pieces or parcels of land, situate lying and being in the Village of Cherry Hill in Cecil County aforesaid containing eight acres, more or less which were conveyed to me the said William H Brokaw, by Clinton McCullough Attorney, by deed dated on the second day of November in the year eighteen hundred and seventy eight, and recorded among the land records of Cecil County aforesaid in Liber AWM, No 10, folio 140 etc, to which said deed and the deed or deeds therein referred to reference is hereby made for the courses and distances, and a more particular description of said tracts, parts of tracts, pieces or parcels of land, together with all and singular the buildings and improvements thereon, and the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining.
