Witnesseth, That in consideration of the sum of Four Hundred and Seventy Five Dollars the said Rebecca L Poole, Mary E Biddle and Olivia Cavender doth grant unto the said John W Bristow his heirs and assigns all that lot piece or parcel of Land situate lying and being on the borders of Chesapeake City in Cecil County aforesaid north of the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal. Beginning as a boundary at a stone at the intersection of the north side of Biddle Street with the west side of Union Street and running thence binding on the westward side of Union Street N 2 1/2 - W 120 feet to a stone thence parallel with the northward side of Biddle street S 85 - W 55 feet to a stone thence parallel with the westward side of Union street S 2 1/2 - E 120 feet to the northward side of Biddle Street to a stone thence binding on the northward side of Biddle Street W 85 - E 55 feet to the place of Beginning. Containing 6600 square feet more or less. This being the same lot of ground and premises mentioned in a Certain Article of Agreement made by George W Bennett, Guardian of Robert Polk, and Richard Biddle bearing date on the first day of November Eighteen Hundred and Fifty Five and being the same lot of ground which was Conveyed by Robert Polk to Richard Biddle by his Deed bearing date the seventh day of April Eighteen Hundred and fifty nine and duly recorded in Liber WHR No 2 folio 62 one of the Land record Books of Cecil County and being the same lot of ground left by will of Richard Biddle deceased to his Sister Ann during her life and at said Sister Ann’s death to go to Laura Biddle and after the death of the said Laura Biddle to go to the nearest heirs which has been settled by the Courts in favor of the said Rebecca L Poole, Mary E Biddle and Olivia Cavender aforesaid. The said John W Bristow to have and to hold the said lot of ground Together with all and singular the buildings thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the said Rebecca L Poole, Mary E Biddle and Olivia Cavender covenant that they have good right to convey the Said Lot of Land and they further covenant that they will warrant specially the property hereby Conveyed and that they will execute such further assurances as may be required.
