WITNESSTH, that in consideration of love and affection as well as in consideration of the sum of One Dollar the said Mary S Arbuckle doth grant in fee simple unto Philip R Arbuckle, the following described real estate, lot or parcel of land lying and being in the village of Cherry Hill in Cecil County, adjoining lands of David C Work and others, on the South side of the road leading by the ME Church. BEGINNING for the same at a stone on the South side of said road, being a corner of the lot of land formerly belonging to the representatives of the late William Gilmore deceased, and being the North East corner thereof and running thence South eighty seven and half degrees East, forty feet up said road to a stone, thence leaving said road, and running South three degrees East, one hundred feet to a stone, thence North eighty seven and a half degrees West, fifty feet to a stone, also a corner of the Gilmore lot, thence by a straight line to place of beginning, containing four hundred and forty-four square yards of land more or less, being the same lot or parcel of land which was conveyed to the said Mary S Arbuckle by W T Warburton, Trustee, by his deed dated on the Fifth day of June, in the Eighteen hundred and ninety one, and recorded in Liber JAD No 23 folio 137, one of the Land Record Books of Cecil County, to which said deed and all others therein mentioned reference is hereby made for a more particular and accurate description of said real estate.
