Know all men by these presents that we Abraham Borland, William Ricketts & Levi 
Dysart of Cecil County in the State of Maryland are held and firmly bound unto 
the said State in the sum of three hundred pounds current money to be paid to 
the said State to the which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind 
ourselves our heirs executors and administrators jointly severally & firmly by 
these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 17th day of June 1822.  The 
condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Abraham 
Borland do and shall will and truly perform the several duties required of him 
as constable of the hundred appointed him by the Court and also the several 
duties required of him by virtue of an act of assembly of the State of Maryland 
in such case made and for needed then the above obligation to be void else to be 
and remain in full force & virtue in law.
