We bind ourselves and Each of our heirs Executors and administrators jointly and Severly firmly by these Presents, Sealed with our Seals and dated this 29th day of August, AD 1894, whereas the above bounden John W Quein has been appointed and Commissioned by the Governor of Maryland a member of the Specil(sic) Ducking Police as provided by the act of assembly of the Session of 1890 Chap 106, now the condition of the above obligation is Such that if the above bounden John W Quein shall well and truly perform the trust reposed in him said commission and shall in all things well and faithfully perform the duties required of him imposed on him by said Act of assembly then the above obligation to be void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue in law.
