Liber 1 p. 7 John Larkin of Ann Arundel County, province of Maryland does ordain and appoint “my trusty and well beloved ffriend George Holland to be my true and Lawfull Attornoy” to Acknowledge in Cecill County Court a Conveyance for a piece of Land lying in the said Cecill County called Goodnfield (?) unto Capt. Thomas Harwood of London his heirs Executors Admins etc. (signed) John Larkin 14 Nov 1674. Wits: Thomas Taillor and Robert Ffranklin Cecil Co. Liber 1 p. 8 8 Aug 1674 John Larkin of Ann Arundel County to Thomas Harwood of London, Marriner – whereas the Right Honorable Lord Propriotary of the province of Maryland for granting lands there bearing date at the Citty of Saint Mary’s the 10th day of May in 1671 for the consideration of the mentioned grant unto the said John Larkin assigned the parcel of Land out for the said John Larkin called Greenfoild (?) Lying in Baltimore County on the East Side of Chesapeak Bay and on a River called Sassafrass and on the north side of the said River at the head of a Crook called Henssland Creeke and at the head of said Tract of land formerly taken up by Richard Leaks beginning at a Marked Red Spanish Oake standing on the east side of a swamp which maketh the head of said Creeke Runing from the said Oake for Breadth up the swamp north 250 perches to a marked Red Oake standing on the north side of a small swamp running from the said oake for length 480 perches west north west by a Lyne drawn from the said west north west line Runing 250 perches by a Lyne drawne from the end of the South lyne and running East South east 480 perches to the first marked Spanish Oake at the head of Hennsland Creeke Containing now Seaven hundred and fifty acres more or less…the said John Larkin for and in Consideration of a warrant for 1150 acres pay and Delivered by the said Capt.
