The 3 November 1904 Deed Reads THIS DEED. Made this Third day of November, 1904, by Mary L. Steel, Widow, of Newark, Delaware, grantor, and George P. Peterson, of Cecil County, Maryland, Grantee. WITNESSETH, That in consideration of the sum of Four thousand Dollars, paid her by the said George P. Peterson, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and said grantor does hereby grant and convey unto the said grantee, in fee simple, the following piece or parcel of land, lying and being in the Forth election District of Cecil County, aforesaid, and described as follows: Being all that tract of land, with the improvements thereon, on which the said George P. Peterson now resides, bounded on the North by the Mason and Dixon Line, on the West by the New London – Elkton road, on the South by lands of the heirs of Winfield Scott, and on the East by the lands of Joseph Mathias, containing about Ninety Six Acres of land, be the same more or less. Being the same property mentioned in a deed from William Young, Trustee, to the above grantor, bearing date the 1st day of May. 1885, and recorded among the Land Records of Cecil County, in Liber J. A. D., No. 10, Folio 137, etc., to which said deed, and the deeds and paper there-mentioned, reference is hereby made for a more complete and accurate description of the premises hereby intended to be conveyed.
