Witnesseth that the said Nathan Steele and Rachel Jane, his wife, for and in consideration of $6,000 current money to them in hand paid by the said John Paschall at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof they, the said Nathan Steele and Rachel Jane Steele, his wife, do hereby acknowledge have given, granted, bargained, sold, released, confirmed and conveyed unto the said John Paschall his heirs and assigns all that tract, piece or parcel of land situate lying and beinging in Cecil County in the State of Maryland. Whereof Amos Pierson late of Cecil County died siezed and possessed and which was conveyed to the said Nathan Steele then of Cecil County aforesaid by William McCullough of said county, Executor of the said Amos Pierson, deceased by deed hearing date on or about 25 April 1854.
