Between Ranseler Biddle, of the Fourth district of Cecil County Maryland, of the first part and Hiram Walker of the same District, County and State, of the other part. Witnessth, that in Consideration of the sum of One hundred and ten dollars, the said Ransler Biddle doth grant unto Hiram Walker of Cecil County aforesaid, all that tract or parcel of land which is described as follows. Beginning at a Stone in a line of said Biddle and Walker’s land and running by land of said Biddle South Sixty Eight and one fourth degrees East, thirteen perches and two tenths to a post in the Elkton Road, thence along the said Road by land of same North Eight six degrees East Sixty seven perches and three tenths to a post, thence by other land of Hiram Walker North Eighty three degrees West, Eight perches and four tenths to a post, thence by the same South seventeen degrees East, Seventeen perches and two tenths to a post, thence by the same South Twenty one and three quarters degrees West, fifty perches to the place of Beginning. Containing Two Acres three roods thirty five perches of Land, be the same more or less. The said Tract or parcel of Land being the same which the said Ransalier Biddle purchased from Hugh Crawford agent for William Crawford, by an Article of agreement dated twenty first day of February AD 1857. And Recorded in Liber HH No 1 folio 91 at Elkton. The said Hiram Walker to hold the said Tract of Land in fee simple. In Witness Whereof the said Ransler Biddle has hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year above written Ranseler Biddle “Hugh Crawford, agent for” in the 33rd line, being first interlined Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of John Owens State of Maryland Cecil County S S Be it remembered that in the sixth day of April AD 1861, personally came before me one of the Justices of the Peace, in and for the said County, the above mentioned Ransler Biddle, and acknowledged the above Indenture to be his act and deed and desired the same to be Recorded as such according to law.
