Between Hiram Walker of the Fourth district of Cecil County Maryland, and Mary Jane, his wife, of the first part and Ranseler Biddle of the same place of the other part. Witnessth, that _ Consideration of the sum of One hundred and ten dollars, the said Hiram Walker and Mary Jane, his wife, do grant unto Ransler aforesaid, all that tract of land which is described as follows. Beginning at a stake near “Minty’s Grave,” and running by Lands of Ransler Biddle North sixty eight degrees West fifty four perches and one tenth to a stake in a line of David Scotts land, thence by Land of Hiram Walker South Eighty two degrees East, fifty five perches and six tenths, to a post in a line of Ransler Biddle’s Land, thence by Land of said Biddle South twenty one and three quarters degrees West, thirteen perches and thirty five hundredths, to the place of Beginning. Containing Two Acres and one quarter of Land, be the same more or less. The said Tract or parcel of Land being part of the same tract which Hiram Walker purchased from Joseph Wildman and Harriet E his Wife, by a Deed dated March twenty fifth AD 1859, and in and by the said Deed Recorded in Record Book Liber WHR No 2 folio 44 will appear. The said Ransler Biddle to hold the said Tract or parcel of Land in fee simple. In Witness Whereof the said Hiram Walker and Mary Jane, his Wife, have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written Hiram Walker Mary Jane Walker Written, Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of John Owens State of Maryland Cecil County S S I hereby certify that on this sixth day of April in the year Eighteen hundred and sixty one, have the subscriber a Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland in and for Cecil County, personally appeared Hiram Walker and Mary Jane Walker, his Wife, and did Each acknowledge the aforegoing Deed to be their respective act.
