And he further makes oath that the Work, labor and materials charged in the above and foregoing account, Were done, performed and furnished at the instance[?] and request of Philip A Ricards, husband of the said Elizabeth Ricards, and by and with her acknowledged Consent and approval, upon the several days and times specified in said account and between the fifteenth day of [June?] in the year Eighteen hundred and Sixty and the First day of February last, for and about two certain buildings, to Wit, A Barn and Store House and for and about the ground of the said Elizabeth immediately adjacent thereto, and necessary for the ordinary and useful purposes of such buildings __ both of which buildings are Situated upon a certain Farm of the said Elizabeth at or near Bay View in Cecil County aforesaid, which was conveyed to her by one Jon A J Creswell by his deed bearing date on the Twenty first day of march in the Year Eighteen hundred and Fifty Six, and duly recorded in Liber HHM No 6 Folio 307 etc, one of the Land Record Books of said County, And whereon she now resides __ And the said buildings are of the Size and description following, that is to say, the said Barn is forty feet in front by Thirty feet in depth; it contains a Stable with four stalls and feed room, a Carriage House with Harness-room attached in the rear, a threshing floor, two Hay Mows, and a loft over threshing floor; the said Barn has one Story of Sixteen feet in hight[sic] with the Hay loft aforesaid, which is Eighteen feet in hight[sic] over the same and with a small ventilator on Top; _ the said Store House is Eighteen feet in front by Thirty two feet in depth, Contains two stores, the first nine feet and six inches in hight[sic] and the second Eight feet in hight[sic], with one room on each floor, it has but one Chimney, starting from the second floor, Supported by a Column underneath, and passing up through the middle of the ridge of the Roof; there is a porch of Eight feet in Width on the End thereof, fronting on the North East Road, it stands on piles, and has an old frame building placed immediately in the Rear thereof; both of the aforesaid buildings are covered with Shingle Roofs; _ And the said John Sleeper Jr further makes oath, the he makes the aforegoing declaration and Statement of his demand, under Article VI[?] of the Maryland Code of Public General Laws, for the purpose of availing himself of the benefit of the Mechanics Lien Law of the State of Maryland.
