This was performed at the direction of the Cecil Circuit Court per Equity Case 2248. PUBLIC SALE of A FARM In the Ninth Election District Under and by virtue of power contained in a mortgage from Lydia Ann Jackson and William E Jackson, her husband, to Mollie D Arbuckle, dated January 25, 1898, and recorded among the land records of Cecil county, in the State of Maryland, in Liber JGW, No 3, folio 194 &c, the undersigned, the attorney named therein to make sale in the event of default, will sell at public auction at the Court House door, in the town of Elkton, in said county, on Saturday, Feb 24, 1900, at 11 o'clock am all of that farm, situated on the road leading from Blue Ball to Brick Meeting House, in the Ninth Election District of said county, adjoining lands of Hugh M Cameron, Henry M Warner and others, containing 36 Acres, 34 Perches OF LAND, MORE OR LESS. For title, reference is made to said mortgage. The land is of good natural quality and in a fair state of cultivation. It is all tillable land except in an excellent meadow of four acres. There is a small apple orchard in full bearing. The improvements are a FRAME DWELLING HOUSE of six rooms, a barn, 38x40 feet, with stone foundation, corn crib, &c. The property is convenient to stores, post office, schools, churches, etc. TERMS OF SALE--$500 to be paid in cash on the day of sale and the remainder (to be secured to the satisfaction of the undersigned), with interest, to be paid within six months from the day of sale. These terms may be altered to suit a satisfactory purchaser, with the consent of the attorney. Cost of deed at the expense of the purchaser.
