Steele who commited suicide on March 5 last has been filed in the Orphans Court by Hester Hess, Esq. counsel for J. Alexander Steele and Mrs. Zelma L. Haggety son and daughter of the deceased. The will is dated Feb 22, 1897 and is witnessed by J. Scott Jamison and Wm D. Bye with John T. DeWitt as Executor. The testator devises to his son James Alexander Steele the farm containing 27 acres in the fourth district, $100 in cash, horse, buggy and sleigh. To his Daughter Zelma Lucretia Haggerty $2,500 and a feather bed. To his sisters Sarah P. and Rebecca B. Steele $150 each and an annuity of $10.00 to be paid by James Alexander Steele To the Rock Presbyterian Church $50.00, the residue to be equally divided among the above named persons. The caveators allege that the testator at the time the will was executed was of unsound mind. That undue influence was exerted over him and that the will was not properly executed.
